Referenties Procurement Services

“We were introduced to Procurement Services in 2014. To gain first-hand experience of how the collaboration would be shaped, we started with a single project. Thereafter this expanded one step at a time. Presently whilst our own organisation no longer supports NPR procurement, Procurement Services cover this area fully. Putting the requirements of the internal organisation first, Carglass maintains control. Due to the fact that the projects are run in a transparent and professional manner each and every time, our supplier relationships have only improved. The long standing business relationships that have been built over many years, are often found to be maintained. Procurement Services acts as an extension of our own organisation – an external colleague. Recently we have added Contract Management to the portfolio of Procurement Services and are expanding further by adding Supplier Management also. We value the fact that supplier commitments are being met and that the forecast savings turn into reality. This allows us to fully focus on our core business.“

“We have recently appointed Procurement Services to lead a tender for the property management of a large Dutch retail real estate portfolio. The objective was to maximise the quality of the (external) property management organisation at the right price. The high calibre team of Procurement Services have lead the tender process with the greatest professionalism and efficiency. They have delivered results within a tight schedule and have provided us with a solid and objective evaluation tool through Negometrix. Building on that result and the positive collaboration, we have currently appointed them again for a comparable tender process“

“Compass Group have been working with Procurement Services for multiple years now.

Following an in-depth spend analysis and provision of procurement training courses, Procurement Services is now also managing projects for direct categories to support Compass Group in achieving its new Group objectives.

One objective was to increase the use of fish from sustainable sources. This had proven to be a challenge due to the untransparent nature of the supply chain. Procurement Services have brought us more clarity and understanding of this segment. A 7% cost reduction has been achieved due to supplier consolidation, removal of excess parties in the chain and product consolidation.

In addition Procurement Services is streamlining the procurement process digitally through Mercell/Negometrix software negating the use of excel and word documents. This results into higher quality, like for like bids, and a smooth RFP process.

Compass Group managed to increase it’s use of fish from sustainable sources in the Netherlands from 22% to 85%. Without the support from Procurement Services such a vast increase would not have been achieved.”

“Our collaboration with Procurement Services started with the mapping of our entire supply chain. In a close knit team, together with the internal data analyst and the supply chain director, we gained visibility of all supply areas.

This insight lead to a more manageable and centralised transport policy directly resulting into a substantial cost reduction in this area.

Through its business partner Cargowatch, Procurement Services have provided Hyva with the tools to continuously monitor the actual data and cost savings. This permanent view of the supply chain allows Hyva to adjust when necessary, both on cost and service level.”

“For Koninklijke Ahrend N.V the decision to work with Procurement Services for NPR Procurement has been well-founded. It has chosen to direct the entire procurement process from Sourcing through to Contract Management to Procurement Services. Firstly driven by the need to reduce its own cost base, and additionally by the necessity to raise the quality level. The latter is safe guarded by Procurement Services’ approach. Not only are they responsible for the supplier negotiations, they also cover the full implementation within the Ahrend organisation.“

“As NPR procurement is simply not core to Lely’s business, we have decided to outsource this area in its entirety to Procurement Services. We knew that substantial savings in this area were achievable. Our expectations have been well and truly exceeded. In addition to the direct savings, the Transport and Logistics project also returned significant process savings. What appeals to me is the professional approach; a business case outlines the detail before implementation is started. Procurement Services always involves the internal stakeholders and seeks their endorsement for the final business case. The Procurement Services colleagues are highly educated, experienced professionals who are a joy to work with. I whole heartedly endorse Procurement Services for all NPR categories. Why have an in-house team? “

“Fuelled with ambition, and together with Procurement Services we embarked on a cost control programme. With the benefit of hindsight it is safe to say that Procurement Services has exceeded our ambitions and expectations. The insight into our cost structures and opportunities to rationalise have been improved. In addition, they offered support to our many negotiation processes in a constructive, and professional manner with a personal touch. Due compliments to the team of Procurement Services! “

“Procurement Services provides a spend analysis to Moba on an annual basis. This time a review of the patent costs was advised. We tread carefully with our patents as we wish to avoid accidental expiry. Plus, it’s fair to say that the “patent world” is rather change averse. As for myself, I had little experience with procurement and would not have started this project without the support of Procurement Services.

Procurement services unravelled the complexity and gave us more grip and insight. In the end the collaboration with Procurement Services lead to a cost saving in the region of 80%.

Moba also has access to a portal now, from which the entire portfolio can be managed in detail. With one press of a button, there is a costs forecast for the next 5 years.”

“Broad knowledge of the procurement profession was lacking at Het Oogziekenhuis in Rotterdam. Which is why, late 2016, we reached out to Procurement Services. Starting with the procurement of linen, quickly followed by cleaning services and other facility related services. In 2018 support on primary procurement categories was added and in 2019 the procurement co-ordination of ICT projects was also included in the scope of Procurement Services.

A Procurement Services Project Manager is on site for one day a week at Het Oogziekenhuis.

Thanks to working with Procurement Services our supplier relationships have become more formal. Our conduct is now more professional which is a true credit to Procurement Services.

Now the eye surgeon is responsible for the technical innovation and the tactical/strategic procurement is routed to the department. It’s working really well. We are capable of innovating at a much higher pace and work within the constraints of the budget”

Promotions leaflet distributor Spotta strongly focussing on procurement policy after merger.

“A merger brings many challenges to an organisation. There are cultural differences, and different systems that require integration. Both these aspects cause difficulty in obtaining accurate data and insights from the organisation. In addition there is an abundance of duplicate supplier contracts. Creating an overview and comparison of these, was a mammoth task.

By collaborating with Procurement Services we have achieved a cost reduction of 2% on agency staffing and 7% on foil packaging, against better and more sustainable terms and conditions.

Plus, the guys and girls at Procurement Services are just a pleasure to work with!”
