“Procurement Services provides a spend analysis to Moba on an annual basis. This time a review of the patent costs was advised. We tread carefully with our patents as we wish to avoid accidental expiry. Plus, it’s fair to say that the “patent world” is rather change averse. As for myself, I had little experience with procurement and would not have started this project without the support of Procurement Services.
Procurement services unravelled the complexity and gave us more grip and insight. In the end the collaboration with Procurement Services lead to a cost saving in the region of 80%.
Moba also has access to a portal now, from which the entire portfolio can be managed in detail. With one press of a button, there is a costs forecast for the next 5 years.”
