Benefits from our tried and tested approach

Improved visibility and structure against
lower procurement costs

Non Product Related (NPR) procurement covers a wider spend volume than most organisations realise. It involves many suppliers, resulting in a high volume of invoices and a multitude of contracts. Moreover, a structured procurement plan is often lacking. At Procurement Services, we go through 3 tried and tested phases by clearly mapping the procurement spend, bringing substantial improvements and monitoring the contract on an ongoing basis.

Analysis

Creating visibility is the starting point. This is done through a spend analysis and procurement scan. Using our analysis software, we quickly pinpoint the focus areas by assigning vendors to procurement categories and/or validate current processes and contracts against our database. The procurement scan provides an immediate view of potential for savings and quality improvements. Together we then decide which procurement categories will be taken further into Business Cases.

Realisation & Implementation

This is where potential is turned into delivery. Firstly, for each of the selected procurement categories, the business case outlines the potential for savings and improvements. The procurement action plan describes who does what and which parties are invited to the RFP. Existing or new suppliers? Or both? In addition, each clients is given the opportunity to make use of live Frame Agreements and Procurement Collectives.

Monitoring

Procurement is a continuous process. Agreements expire, are automatically renewed, pricing can be subject to indexations and roles can change. That’s why it is important to manage, monitor and adjust agreements and contracts where necessary.

Made-to-measure support

On average, we deliver a 15% saving on NPR procurement spend by implementing our process from start to finish. However, it’s not “one size fits all”- our collaborations are tailored to meet our clients’ needs. Are you looking for temporary procurement support or a structural partnership? Perhaps you are considering outsourcing all of the procurement activities? Above all: the shape of the collaboration is entirely in your hands.
